When Katrina Kaif refused to accept award on Salman Khan’s behalf

Mumbai: From a struggling model to one of the most sought after actresses in Tinsel Town, Katrina Kaif has walked a long way. However, with time, the lady seems to have created an independent identity of her own and doesn’t appreciate being referred to as Salman Khan’s protégé.
Apparently, Katrina had politely refused to accept an award on behalf of her mentor, Salman at an award function. However, she displayed the witty side of her personality by saying that she would accept it only if she is paid some percentage of the money Salman charges for his films!
And by saying so, Katrina stunned host Ayushmann Khurrana and the audiences.
What made Katrina say so? We hope she is not running the Shah Rukh Khan ‘fever’!
